Qorbit Core

Purpose-built recovery hardware that reacts faster than you can blink. Qorbit Core monitors your flight from pad to landing, triggering recovery charges with sub-400ms precision when it detects apogee — even if your primary altimeter fails.

  • Sub-400ms recovery response
  • Dual-channel e-match output
  • Barometric altimeter + 6-axis IMU
  • USB-C data export
  • 54mm form factor (fits standard body tubes)
  • TARC-legal as secondary recovery device

TARC note: Qorbit Core is positioned as a commercially available secondary recovery device. The required competition altimeter remains in place for official altitude measurement.

Inside the enclosure

One board. Forty-five millimetres. Designed to disappear into the e-bay.

A single 4-layer PCB carries the flight brain — STM32L4, ICM-42688 IMU, MS5611 barometer — and the muscle: two independent pyro outputs (Ch1 primary, Ch2 backup), a physical arming key, and USB-C. It mounts in your rocket's avionics bay, right above the recovery charge.

Ready first: the flight computer and software platform ship ahead of the autonomous backup-deploy, which is in active flight testing now.

Software Platform

Everything after the flight, handled.

Flight Analysis

Upload CSV, see altitude/velocity charts, deployment events, and outcome classification in seconds.

Flight Simulator

Pre-flight planning with physics sim. Predict apogee, descent rate, and optimal delay before you ever leave the pad.

Pre-flight Checklists

Guided field setup: e-bay wiring, charge sizing, arming sequence. Nothing gets forgotten on launch day.

Flight Comparison

Overlay flights side-by-side. Correlate sim predictions with real data. Iterate faster between launches.

Team Collaboration

Shared flight logs for up to 10 members. When seniors graduate, data and lessons learned stay with the team.

Community Library

Browse and share flights with the rocketry community. Learn from real-world flight data across motor classes.

Platform access

Free to start. Pro when your program needs it.

Every Qorbit Core ships with free platform access — flight analysis, simulator, and pre-flight checklists. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited analysis, team collaboration, and community features.

Review every flight fast

Import telemetry, inspect altitude and velocity curves, and keep a clean searchable record of every launch.

Operate with better discipline

Pre-flight checklists, guided setup, and simulator loops reduce field mistakes before they cost you hardware.

Keep the team in sync

Shared logs, side-by-side comparisons, and community publishing turn launches into reusable knowledge.
