1. Information We Collect
When you create an account or join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your role and organization. When you use the platform, we store flight data you upload, simulation configurations, rocket profiles, and checklist data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Qorbit platform
- Send waitlist updates, product announcements, and account notifications
- Process payments through our payment provider (Stripe)
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your flight data for advertising.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. We implement row-level security so users can only access their own data. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
4. Community Flight Sharing
If you choose to share a flight to the community library, the flight profile data, motor, altitude, and outcome become visible to other authenticated users. You can unshare a flight at any time. Your email and personal details are never shown publicly.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email
- Vercel — hosting
6. Your Rights
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@qorbit.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Account deletion permanently removes all your flights, rockets, simulations, and team data.
7. Children's Privacy
Qorbit Systems is designed for use by rocketry teams, including high school students. Users under 13 must have a parent or guardian create an account on their behalf. School plan accounts are managed by an educator or team advisor. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
